PROTEST BY ORGANIZING TET ANNIVERSARY AT DHUPGURI TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Dhupguri, 16th August, 2016: ‘TET Jayanti’ or TET Aniversary was organized at Dhupguri-Falakata Bus Stand today. This is not a celebration but a unique way of protest done by the examinees, who appeared for the TET conducted by the School Service Commission. The main intention was to agitate against the long pending results of the TET results. In this occasion, the district secretary of Paschim Banga Shiksha Bachao Committee Mr. Bidyut Ghosh, Assistant Secretary Mr. Shamim Islam, and President Mr. Kallol Pal was also present. The members of the organization told the press that till date there were several TET examinations conducted but the results are withheld for some unknown reasons. Earlier TET qualified candidates even got their certificates but could not bag any jobs till date. Interestingly the passersby were served with sweets as a mark of Protest.
